Miriam Pertegato è nata a Vicenza nel 1978. Vive e lavora a Trieste. Nel 2002 si diploma in Pittura all Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia dove attualmente lavora come Docente di seconda fascia in Pittura. Dal 2000 opera professionalmente come ittrice. Nell autunno 2010 è artist-in residence presso il centro Artistico KulttuuriKapuppila, Finlandia.
